Announcing the Display of the Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System Final Rule
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Hospital OPPS/ASC Payment System Final Rule was displayed on the website of the Federal Register on November 21, 2025.
CMS issued a final rule to update Medicare payment rates and policies furnished under the OPPS/ASC payment system, including those which relate to the Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR), Rural Emergency Hospital Quality Reporting (REHQR), and Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Programs.
