CMS Announces Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Medicare Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and Ambulatory Surgical Center Payment System Proposed Rule
On July 15, 2022, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the proposed Medicare payment rates for hospital outpatient and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) services.
The calendar year (CY) 2023 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Proposed Rule is scheduled to be published on July 26, 2022. Each year, CMS issues a proposed rule to update CY Medicare payment policies and rates under the OPPS.
