USCDI ONDEC Submission Period Extended & Updated Prep Sheet Available

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) extended the deadline for United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) ONC New Data Element and Class (ONDEC) submissions to October 23, 2020 at 11:59 PM ET. Additionally, ONC released an updated USCDI ONDEC Prep Sheet to assist stakeholders in preparing more complete submissions for new USCDI data elements and classes, and provide insight into ONC’s evaluation criteria for the level classification of submissions. The prep sheet now includes more detailed descriptions and samples for submission form questions.
