The Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources® (FHIR®) Terminology Service for Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) Resources is an online service that permits access to value sets and code systems. It works through a Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface (REST API), so it’s designed for people who are familiar with FHIR resources. Access requires a free Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) license.
