IQR Program Hospitals Selected for eCQM Validation CY 2019 (FY 2022 Payment Determination)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program has selected the hospitals for the validation of electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) for Calendar Year (CY) 2019 (Fiscal Year [FY] 2022 payment determination). The CY 2019 quarters eligible for validation for FY 2022 payment determination are first quarter 2019 through fourth quarter 2019.

A list of the selected hospitals is available on www.qualitynet.org.  To access, select [Hospitals–Inpatient], and then [Data Management], followed by eCQM Data Validation.

PLEASE NOTE: CMS has granted exceptions in response to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), including eCQM validation, to assist health care providers while they direct their resources toward caring for their patients and ensuring the health and safety of patients and staff.

Specific details regarding these exceptions have been communicated in the following Guidance Memo released by CMS on March 27, 2020.
