CMS Launches “One Login” functionality for Hospital Quality Reporting QualityNet Account holders
The Health Care Quality Information Systems (HCQIS) Access Roles, and Profile system (HARP) is available for Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR). HARP is a secure streamlined ID management portal which allows you to access many HQR reporting systems using “One Login” functionality. If you have not created your HARP account, you can start to transition your QualityNet account today.
The transition period runs through June 15, 2020. Please follow these steps to begin to transition your account:
- Go to the http://qualitynet.cms.gov
- Click Log in to Secure Portal in the upper right-hand corner
- Choose Hospital Quality Reporting from the drop-down
- Click Let’s Go
- Enter your QualityNet login credentials and click Submit
Once you log in, a pop-up window will appear in front of the My Tasks page alerting you to create a new HARP Login
- Click Enable HARP Account, and follow the prompts
(If you accidentally close the pop-up, the My Tasks page will appear with a blue alert at the top of the page. Click Enable HARP Account there.)
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to making the transition a smooth one. To assist you with this transition, a prerecorded webinar is now available to walk you through this process. You may also download the HARP User Guide.
