CMS 2025 Call for Measures Now Open for Submission!
The CMS Measures Under Consideration Entry/Review Information Tool (CMS MERIT) is now open for 2025 quality and efficiency measure submissions!
Section 3014 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act established the CMS pre-rulemaking process for the selection of measures for adoption in select CMS Medicare quality programs. The pre-rulemaking process helps to support CMS’s goals to fill critical gaps in quality measurement and consider multi-interested party input on measure selection.
Measure developers/stewards are now invited to submit their candidate measures using CMS MERIT until 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, May 1, 2025. For helpful tools and resources regarding pre-rulemaking, please visit the Measures Management System (MMS) Hub.
