2024 Call for Measures Now Open for Submissions

The CMS Measures Under Consideration Entry/Review Information Tool (CMS MERIT) is now open for 2024 quality and efficiency measure submissions! CMS MERIT will remain open to accept measures until 8 p.m. (ET) Friday, May 10, 2024.

Section 3014 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act established the CMS Pre-Rulemaking process for the selection of measures for adoption in select U.S. Department of Health & Human Services payment and performance programs. The Pre-Rulemaking process helps to support CMS’ goals to fill critical gaps in quality measurement and consider multi-interested party input on measure selection. CMS invites the submission of candidate measures from measure developers/stewards until 8 p.m. (ET) May 10.
