Final USCDI v4 and Standards Bulletin Published; USCDI v5 Submission Period Open

The United States Core Data for Interoperability Version 4 (USCDI v4) was published last month. USCDI v4 includes 20 new data elements and one new data class, which advance the Biden-Harris Administration’s priorities of advancing equity, diversity, and access across all healthcare settings.

The USCDI v5 submission period is also open! The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) is accepting new submissions for data classes and elements along with comments on existing data elements until September 20 at 11:59pm ET.

ONC plans to publish Draft USCDI v5 in January 2024.
