Comment on the 2023 Interoperability Standards Advisory

The annual comment period for the Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) is open and will run until October 6, 2023. This is an opportunity for the public to provide comments, suggest revisions, and propose additions to the ISA before the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) publishes the 10th Annual ISA Reference Edition in January 2024.

ONC thanks the health IT community for the continued, critical feedback that has allowed the ISA to provide the most up-to-date and accurate state of health IT standards in the nation since 2014. New standards, implementation specifications, and highlighted health IT interoperability needs specific to Pharmacy Interoperability, Human and Social Services, and Adverse Event Reporting were key updates to last year’s 9th Annual ISA Reference Edition update.

ONC welcomes public comments on the ISA at any time during the year; however, to be considered for inclusion in the 2024 ISA Reference Edition, comments must be submitted by October 6th at 11:59pm ET.
