Quality Data Model (QDM) v5.5 Change Overview Webinar

Add to Calendar 2019-08-20 16:00:00 2019-08-20 17:00:00 Atlantic/Azores Quality Data Model (QDM) v5.5 Change Overview Webinar The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has published the Quality Data Model (QDM) version 5.5 and is holding an overview webinar on August 20, 2019 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET. The QDM has been aligned with the emerging standard Health Level Seven International (HL7) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).  QDM 5.5 clarifies descriptions of data elements and removes attributes that were inconsistent with clinical practice. Development of electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) using the QDM v5.5 publication is anticipated for eCQMs submitted for the 2021 reporting/performance period. The QDM v5.5 webinar will review QDM basics, changes from the QDM v5.4, and new datatypes and attributes. Register for the webinar taking place on August 20, 2019 12:00-1:00pm ET here.  Support for these features and modifications will be implemented in the production version of the Measure Authoring Tool (MAT) to be released by Fall 2019. Training sessions reviewing updates to the MAT and Bonnie Tools will be held on August 21 and 22, 2019 as detailed below.
