The draft 2019 CMS Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) Category III Implementation Guide (IG) for Eligible Clinicians and Eligible Professionals has been posted for public comment.

The public comment period starts on May 30, 2018 and ends on June 20, 2018. The 2019 CMS QRDA III IG will help eligible clinicians and eligible professionals report electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) starting in the calendar year 2019 reporting period.

Now Open! JIRA MUC Project 2018

 

JIRA is now open to collect candidate measures for the CMS 2018 Measures under Consideration (MUC) List. If you are an authorized user of the 2017 or prior years’ JIRA web interface for the MUC List, you should have access to the new 2018 MUC Project.

New candidate measures for most CMS programs will be accepted until June 15, 2018. If you have a quality measure for Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), the last day to submit your measure in JIRA is June 1, 2018.

Updated eCQM Specifications and New eCQM Reading Guide Now Available

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is writing to clarify the electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) requirements for eligible professionals (EPs) under the Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program for 2018 reporting. 

The number of eCQMs that EPs must report remains the same as 2017.  Specifically, EPs must report any six available eCQMs relevant to their practice.
