Eligible Clinician eCQM Diabetes Measures

This one-hour session will provide an in-depth review of the Diabetes electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) including: Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Poor Control (>9%) (CMS122), Eye Exam (CMS131), and Medical Attention for Nephropathy (CMS134). CMS has transitioned the logic used in eCQMs from the previous quality data model (QDM) logic expression language to Clinical Quality Language (CQL) for the 2019 performance period. This session will provide an introduction to the top reported Diabetes measures and address terminology and value set changes for 2019 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Quality performance period.
