Health Quality Measure Format (HQMF) Now a Normative Standard

July 19, 2017 - 3:38pm

The Health Quality Measure Format (HQMF) is a Health Level Seven (HL7) standard for representing a health quality measure as an electronic document. HQMF, previously a draft standard for trial use (DSTU), is now a normative standard and is available for download by HL7 members. This latest version has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a normative standard. HL7 Version 3 Standard: Representation of the Health Quality Measure Format (eMeasure) Release 1 provides a simplified structure and clearer execution model over previous HQMF releases. Questions and comments on the new normative standard can be posted to the ONC JIRA QDM Issue Tracker
