Side-by-Side Comparison of an eCQM for Eligible Professionals and Eligible Clinicians Using CQL

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) invites you to a webinar titled “Side-by-Side Comparison of an eCQMinfo-icon for Eligible Professionalsinfo-icon and Eligible Cliniciansinfo-icon Using Clinical Quality Language (CQL)info-icon.” This is a targeted educational session to show how electronic clinical quality measureinfo-icon (eCQM) CQL logic expression is used versus the expression of logic using the Quality Data Model (QDM)info-icon and Health Quality Measuresinfo-icon Format (HQMF).

The CQL standard (CQL Release 1, Standard for Trial Use (STU) 2) is a Health Level Seven International standard that aims to unify the expression of logic for eCQMsinfo-icon and clinical decision support. CQL provides the ability to better express logic defining measure populations to improve the accuracy and clarity of eCQMs.

This is a targeted educational session for measure implementers and end users participating in the following programs:

  • Quality Payment Program: Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs)
  • Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+)
  • Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHRinfo-icon) Incentive Program for Eligible Professionals
