Pioneers in Quality™ eCQM Expert to Expert Webinar Series: PC-01 and PC-05 eCQMs

The Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are committed to supporting hospitals on their journey towards electronic clinical quality measureinfo-icon (eCQMinfo-icon) adoption and transition to the new Clinical Quality Language (CQL)info-icon expression language for the 2019 eCQM reporting period. This series, offered in cooperation with and incorporating expert content from The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' subcontractors Mathematica, Lantana, and ESAC, provides in-depth CQL coverage.

The March 26 session will address PC-01 and PC-05 eCQMsinfo-icon and will include a review of measure logic, common issues, and a question and answer session. Based on participant feedback, we are extending the duration of the session to 90 minutes. This will permit adequate time to cover presentation content in the first hour and Q&A at the end of the session for an additional 30 minutes. At the end of this session, participants will be able to:  1. Apply concepts learned about the new Clinical Quality Language (CQL) expression language for the PC-01 and PC-05 eCQMs 2. Identify common issues and questions regarding PC-01 and PC-05 eCQMs and  3. Prepare to implement the CQL expression language for the 2019 eCQM reporting year (2020 data submission).

Technical Requirements (for audio and system):

  • Google Chrome (recommended browser).
  • Must have computer speakers or headphones. Audio will be though VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) only.

To claim credit, you must have: 

1) Individually registered for the webinar.  2) Listened to the live webinar in its entirety. Only those listening live during the session will be eligible to receive credit.  3) Completed a post-program evaluation/attestation. The program evaluation/attestation link will be sent to your registered email after the webinar. 

For those that meet the eligibility criteria for CEs, printable certificates will be sent via email 2 weeks after the session; all participant CE certificates will be sent at the same time.
