This is a reminder that between 6:00 pm and 11:59 pm EST September 21st , 2018, the ONC Issue Tracking System JIRA and Confluence instances will be down for routine maintenance and will not be available for use.

Mark your calendars! ONC’s 2018 Annual Meeting will be held November 29th and 30th in Washington, DC. The agenda will extend the many discussions and topics from our Interoperability Forum, and will feature the ongoing work by the private and public sectors to promote health IT interoperability and usability. ONC will share more information about the agenda, location, and hotel reservations in the coming weeks. Registration information will be forthcoming.

ONC Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) – Open for Review and Comment

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT has opened a comment period for the annual review of the Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA). The ISA is an interactive catalog of standards and implementation specifications supporting interoperability in healthcare, and stakeholder input is crucial to ensure it contains the latest and most accurate industry information.

What is Kaizen?

Kaizen, or continuous improvement, is a long-term approach to work that systematically seeks to achieve incremental changes in order to improve efficiency and quality. It focuses on removing process waste and maximizing value to the customer (in this case the patient).
