Ways to engage with the eCQI community

The federal government and private stakeholders provide opportunities for stakeholders to actively engage in eCQI efforts through open meetings, public comment periods, expert panels, and educational events. Select the user type you most associate yourself with and the table will sort opportunities they may be of interest to you.

Glossary of eCQI Terms

Alignment
Measure alignment includes using the same quality measures and value sets across settings and within multiple programs when possible. Alignment is achieved when a set of measures works well across settings or programs to produce meaningful information without creating extra work for those responsible for the measurement.

CMS Publishes Updated eCQM Table for Eligible Clinicians and Eligible Professionals for 2017 Performance Period

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has published an updated table accompanying the 2016 electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) specifications (published in April 2016) for the 2017 performance period.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) have published an addendum to the 2016 eCQM specifications (published in April 2016). This addendum updates relevant International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10 Clinical Modification (CM) and Procedure Coding System (PCS) eCQM value sets for the 2017 performance year. These changes affect electronic reporting of eCQMs for the following programs:
