2027 CMS QRDA III Implementation Guide (IG), Schematron, and Sample Files for Eligible Clinicians
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have published the 2027 CMS Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) Category III Implementation Guide (IG), Schematron, and Sample Files for Eligible Clinician programs.
The 2027 CMS QRDA III IG outlines the requirements for eligible clinicians (ECs) to report electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) for calendar year (CY) 2027 quality reporting programs.
Updates to the 2027 CMS QRDA III IG include:
- General updates to support the 2027 performance period.
- Guidance and conformance statements to support the Ambulatory Specialties Model.
- Guidance for the Long-term Enhanced ACO Design (LEAD) Model.
Updates to the 2027 CMS QRDA III Schematron include:
- Conformance statements to support the Ambulatory Specialties Model.
Updates to the 2027 CMS QRDA III Sample Files include:
- General updates to support the 2027 performance period.
New for 2027: The 2027-CMS-QRDA-III-v1.0-Support-Files.zip contains Table 19: UUID List for Eligible Clinicians CY 2027 Performance Period eCQM Specifications in Excel format.
